Celebrate Recovery has a great site. It has info on their world-wide network of spiritually-based Recovery Programs with a global locator, commentary by Dr. Rick Warren, author of “The Purpose Driven Life”, other resources and workbook materials, and Pastor John Baker’s personal testimony about his own spiritual healing and life transformation. Don’t miss this one!

The MAH Network, Multiplicity, Abuse and Healing Network, is an independent resource for those healing from various abuses. It offers articles, discussion forums, an e-pals service, a Consumer’s Guide to Online Mental Health Care, and much more!

Cedar Ridge Community Church, my postmodern home church, has helped a lot of spiritually wounded people find their way back to God. You can read some of their personal stories and listen to some great services presented by Brian McLaren, Keith Matthews, Robert Kang and more. And, if you’re ever in the neighborhood stop by some Sunday and say hi!

Real people,     their stories....

Hope for Healing is a top-notch resource for both women and men healing from various types of sexual abuse including incest, rape, stalking and domestic violence and more. Post a poem, join  support group and even be part of their “Hope Quilt” by designing your own personal square!

RecoverMe.org is a nicely tucked away web-log, or “blog”, where you can find genuine fellowship and take part in an online book study! Topics include healing, recovery, spiritual-scriptural discussion, and weekly discussion on Cedar Ridge Community Church’s sermons. Current book study: “Changes That Heal”, by Dr. Henry Cloud, highly recommended by Grace Tree’s Counselor!

In her latest book, gifted author Shannon Miller- “The Guilt Lady”, exposes and addresses the fears, myths and realities of guilt issues that keep many of us bound and prevent us from living a full and content life as God intended. You can now purchase her outstanding (and very affordable!) book online to help you on your road to recovery, “The Gift of Guilt; Ten Steps to Freedom From Guilt, Forever.” And, you can even ask The Guilt Lady a question for free!
